Progress On Toy Shop

I had a close call when I reached the front wall of BrightSea Village‘s Toy Shop. When I started stitching I had forgotten to allow for the extra height of the front wall. You can imagine my relief, I’m sure, on discovering I still had five rows before the edge of my fabric.

I’m keen to finish now because I’m so looking forward to starting my next project.

Wishing you all good things in 2023 and happy stitching!

Attention Crazy Cat Ladies And Friends

Mr. Jinx’s Home For Retired Cat Ladies is now welcoming guests and their furry friends. There are at least twenty-one cats playing around this house while their human friends relax and enjoy their company.

Good News, Bad News, Good News

Just a little update on a few changes with buying my patterns.
Good news – my patterns can now be bought as downloadable PDf’s as well as printed and posted. With postal services around the world being disrupted from time to time during the pandemic it just makes sense. This applies to my website, Etsy and Trade Me sales.
The bad news – on my website free postage for printed and posted patterns now applies on sales of USD25.00 and over. (It used to be 15.00.)
The other good news – on my website when you purchase five or more patterns now you will automatically get a twenty percent discount.

New Designs Coming Out Soon

Oops! I haven’t posted here for ages. Must have been too busy stitching. Brightsea Village’s restaurant, The Starfish is on the brink of being released (hopefully this month).

Meanwhile I am zipping through the stitching of the next mini carpet, Svendborg. I am frantic to finish because I can’t wait to start the next BrightSea Village house. Every time I design something new I look forward to stitching it but I am super excited about this one. Wait and see!

Not Just Stitching

You know, there are other ways you can use your stitching patterns. I have used some of mine for latch-hooked rugs, knitting designs and, recently, mosaic. This one was done with junk mail cut into 2mm squares, using part of my Bee Happy Pyramajig pattern.
