You will need
- Embroidery needle (size 26)
- Scissors
- 18ct canvas 450mm x 500mm (17 ¾” x 19 ¾”) or larger.
- DMC six strand embroidery cotton
- Mill Hill beads

The completed product measures approximately:
- Engine – 85mm long x 40mm wide x 60mm high (approx 3 ⅜” x 1 ½” x 2 ⅜”)
- Coal tender – 45mm long x 40mm wide x 40mm high (approx 1 ¾” x 1 ½” x 1 ½”)
- 2 x Carriage – 90mm long x 40mm wide x 60mm high (approx 3 ½” x 1 ½” x 2 ⅜”)
All worked on 18ct canvas.
