While I’m getting the Blossoms And Butterflies pyramajig ready for release I’ve started the test stitch for my next carpet, Withaness. My family name was Phillpotts. It’s one of those names that was often misspelled and we were forever chanting “Double ell, double tee, with an ess,” at people. My grandparents had a House “name’ plaque made eventually that read Withaness.

Progress On The Weavers Arms
What’s more fun than a solar powered spider? Answer: Three solar powered spiders. (I do love my little toys.) Meanwhile, the test stitch for The Weavers Arms is coming along just fine.
The Weavers Arms Update
Nearly finished stitching the border and looking forward to stitching the interesting bits. Usually I do the test stitches for my miniature carpets in needlepoint (for speed) but I’m working this in full cross-stitch.
A Start On my Next Miniature Carpet
My next miniature carpet is a little different from any I’ve stitched before. The Weavers Arms is designed with the haunted dollhouse in mind.
